Desktop Music Production Techniques: presented by Sonic Pathways

Greetings Fellow Musicians and Songwriters,

May I introduce myself...my name is Ken Kruckenberg. I'm a producer/engineer here in SLC.

I've been a pro musician for 35+ years now, and it's been my good luck to work with many talented songwriters, performers, commercial clients and audio aficionados. Now I'd like to share some of what I've learned over the years.

I'm offering a series of classes entitled "Desktop Music Production Techniques". DMPT for short. I've been using an amazing piece of software from Digidesign called Pro Tools® for many years now. I've conducted thousands of paying recording sessions, and have discovered and refined many techniques you won't find in books or videos.

I'm not certified by Digidesign or any other company - my experience comes directly from the school of hard knocks. I'm not here to sell hardware or software - I want to inspire you to write and record better music. I love music and the creative process, and I believe capturing your own music shouldn't be so difficult. This series of classes will save you many hours of trial & error, and get you on the way to making your own music sound the way you've always dreamed.

The classes will be fairly small, so everyone will have hands-on training during class time. We will be recording both virtual and real instruments as part of the class. If you have your own portable or laptop Pro Tools systems, you're welcome to bring them.
